Not Good Quality anymore \- Machine made now
The photo of the contents in the tray, actually shows a similar picture to the one I was going to add. The contents are dropped on top of each other all higglepiggledy, so is not a complete 'en croute', contrary to the illustration on the packaging. You have to carefully remove the contents and reassemble on greaseproof paper on a baking tray, then cook. Because A) the contents are all loose, B) the pastry sticks to the metal tray so you can't eat the bottom pastry anyway. The top pastry doesn't cook well, even when instructionns followed. Disappointing. These used to be very nice.

awful, bring back the old ones!
We used to have these on a regular basis, the lovely puff pastry fully encasing the perfect amount of chicken and sauce. We tried the lattice ones, and they were awful, the bottom pastry remained uncooked, all of the sauce (such as it was) slid out of the sides, the whole thing was an unappetising mess. Won't be buying any more, which is a shame, because we all loved the old ones

Awful, please bring back the old version.
Not even worth 1 star! What used to be one our favourite meals has now turned into something we will never order again. This new version is absolutely shocking. Pastry is soggy and unappetising. The old version was so delicious and crispy, a real treat! Please change back!!

Chicken En Croute it Certainly isn't
Poorly constructed. What you get are 2 small pieces of chicken between 2 pieces of pastry that aren't even big enough to cover and be sealed around the edges. Looks like they've been thrown into the tray with little care. Certainly not worth the money and wouldn't buy again

Yuck it is not en croute, or as delicious
Once a favourite meal. A lattice of pastry and a smaller bit of chicken does not justify the title of Chicken en Croute. Please bring back the original, as the product now is not our favourite and will not be bought by us again, If the cost of producing the original has gone up then charge accordingly but please do not continue to sell this item.

Please Bring Back the Old Version
As per other reviews calling this an "En Croute" is a lie as its not wrapped in pastry. There are two thin sheets on the bottom and two on the top and often these aren't properly constructed and just haphazardly thrown into the tray. Yesterday it had all merged so that the second piece consisted of one layer of puff pastry and nothing else. Desperately want the old version back which was my favorite item from Morrisons!!!
